STEP 1 – ACCESS HOTSPOT DASHBOARD

Create a hotspot profile from the “Guest” menu on the dashboard. Select “Create a new one” from the NASID drop down at the top.

STEP 2 – CREATE A PROFILE

Create a unique ID for this network and leave the “Network ID” field below as default (_Hotspot). Complete the wizard and you are ready to go and setup the Unleashed APs.

STEP 3A – CREATE AAA AUTH PROFILE

Go to “Admin and Services” then “AAA” on the Unleashed admin screen. Select “create” and setup the RADIUS authentication profile as shown below (your account manager will supply the RADIUS secrets).

  • Primary RADIUS: 52.50.153.110
  • Secondary RADIUS: 52.50.119.36

STEP 3B – CREATE AAA ACCOUNTING PROFILE

Go to “Admin and Services” then “AAA” on the Unleashed admin screen. Select “create” and setup the RADIUS accounting profile as shown below (your account manager will supply the RADIUS secrets).

  • Primary RADIUS: 52.50.153.110
  • Secondary RADIUS: 52.50.119.36

STEP 4A – CREATE HOTSPOT PROFILE

Go to “Admin and Services” then “Hotspot” on the Unleashed admin screen. Select “create” and use the “General” settings below.

STEP 4B – CREATE HOTSPOT PROFILE

Use the “Authentication” settings that you just created as shown below.

  • Location ID: This MUST match the hotspot profile NASID you created in step 1 and is case sensitive.

STEP 4C – CREATE HOTSPOT PROFILE

Use the “Walled Garden” settings as shown below. Note for social signups this may change.

Configure your Wireless LAN to use the settings that have just been created.

STEP 6B – APPLY MAC TO SECURE WLAN AP LIST

You will need to run the following commands on the AP CLI to make sure we get the Ruckus AP MAC in the request. Then you can get the AP MAC from the AP MAC from the “Access Points” area on the dashboard.

  • enable
  • config
  • wlan [WLAN NAME]
  • called-station-id-type ap-mac
  • exit

Now you will have an audit trail for all of your enterprise devices.
