You can now enhance your guest WiFi experience with Cambium Networks cnMaestro and Easy WiFi. For more information about Cambium Networks visit https://www.cambiumnetworks.com/. Before you begin make sure you have created a splash page profile in the Easy WiFi dashboard “Splash Page” menu (Take note of the NAS ID) and added the Cambium APs MAC address to the authorised devices list in the “Routers and Hardware” section of the Easy WiFi dashboard.

1. CREATE A GUEST WLAN
Navigate to the WLANs menu as shown in the image below. Add a new WLAN or click the edit icon to setup an existing WLAN.
2. ADD AAA SERVERS
From the selected WLANs edit menu select “AAA Servers” as highlighted below. Make sure you have added the authentication and accounting servers using the secret provided by your Easy WiFi account manager. Make sure the NAS-Identifier (Advanced Settings) field is filled out to match the Easy WiFi splash profile NAS ID. This is what links your splash page to the Cambium network.
- Primary Server: radius.easy-wifi.co.uk
- Secondary Server: radius2.easy-wifi.co.uk
3. SETUP GUEST ACCESS
From the selected WLANs edit menu select “Guest Access” as highlighted below. Use the following settings and leave others as default.
- Basic Settings
- Portal Mode: External Hotspot
- Access Policy: RADIUS
- Redirect Mode: HTTP
- Redirect Hostname:
- WISPr Clients External Login: Ticked
- External Page URL: https://hotspot.easy-wifi.co.uk/?vendor=cambium
- External Portal Type: Standard
- Prefix Query Strings in URL: Ticked
- Advanced Settings
- Redirection URL Query String: Tick All
4. CREATE SECURE WIFI NETWORK (WPA2-ENTERPRISE)
Create a WLAN and add AAA servers with the same details used for the Guest WLAN in the previous steps. Under the WLAN section make sure “Security” is set to WPA2 Enterprise (802.1x). The setup is now complete but remember to add the Secure WLAN SSID to the Secure WiFi Name section in the Easy WiFi dashboard, this is to help guide users on where to connect once they have registered.
